The MedBen staff has once again doffed its oversized Santa cap to help local children have a special Christmas this year!
Since 1999, MedBen has participated in Families Helping Families. Led by Licking County Job and Family Services (LCJFS), this program provides gifts anonymously to children throughout Licking County, Ohio. Area businesses, churches, schools, clubs, families, and other groups all contribute to the program.
This year, MedBen received the wish lists of 14 children from LCJFS as well as House of New Hope, which helps foster children. Our employees raised nearly $1,500 to ensure that every item on a child’s list makes it into Santa’s bag. MedBen also contributes extra funds on top of the employee fundraising and donations to buy these gifts.
Families Helping Families is among the many charities and non-profit organizations MedBen has partnered with over the years. We’ve also been honored to support United Way, Food Pantry Network, Licking County Community Health Clinic, A Call to College, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and the Midland Theatre, to name just a few.
MedBen has called Licking Country home for nearly 85 years, and we’ve pleased to be able to assist the people of our community.
