On April 16, MedBen University (MBU) held its first event of the 2020 season with the 5th Annual Broker Roundtable Webinar. This webinar brought together brokers from five states to review cost and utilization trends, market strategies, and ways to help maximize value through plan design, wellness initiatives, and Rx strategies. MedBen also presented ways to successfully manage costs through Reference-Based Pricing and Direct-to-Employer Contracting.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, MedBen Senior VP Caroline Fraker gave a COVID-19 compliance update, explaining the new federal and state rules and how they affect plan sponsors. This update will also be featured in upcoming MBU events.
