The Split works much like a regular health plan – the employer selects the employee deductible amount, and the employee pays eligible claim costs up to that deductible. The difference is that once the employee deductible is reached, the employer covers eligible claim costs up to a preset “employer deductible”. MedBen then takes it from there.
