MedBen Director of Client Services Tracie Lesko recently completed the Community Leadership program offered through the Licking County (OH) Chamber of Commerce. The nine-month program fosters the intellectual growth of local leaders by strengthening their management skills and expanding their community knowledge.
Lesko says that a knowledge of the community in which one lives and works is vital to personal growth. “Learning of all the community programs that Licking County has is amazing, and the changes that are currently happening and coming to the county are exciting,” she observed.
Lesko added that the program allowed her to recognize where her strengths are and build from that. “By knowing your own strengths, you can build a team of individuals that have different strengths, and they all complement each other,” she said.
A 28-year veteran of employee benefits, Lesko started with MedBen as a Group Service Representative in 2000, was promoted to Manager of Client Services in 2012, and achieved Director status earlier this year.
