MedBen Manager of Administration Cory Loughman recently completed the Community Leadership program offered through the Licking County (OH) Chamber of Commerce. The nine-month program teaches the importance of “strength-based” leadership and developing the attributes at which participants excel.
Asked about the value of the program, Loughman replied, “It helped me develop my personal strengths as a leader, and gave me insight on how to identify individual talents in my team so that I can better motivate them in achieving our goals. I feel a greater sense of confidence and purpose.”
As for how completing the program will benefit her, Loughman said, “The opportunity to expand my knowledge of our professional community will prove invaluable in my role here. I think it’s important to be part of a network of people who care about making Licking County a better place to work and live.”
Cory has served MedBen clients since 2001, starting in Customer Service before joining the Administration Department in 2015. Prior to joining MedBen, she attended Ohio State University – Newark.
