You might remember that the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021 (CAA) requires all health plans to file a pharmacy data report annually to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Beginning this year, and each year thereafter, that reporting must be completed no later than June 1st.
On May 15, 2023, MedBen successfully submitted the pharmacy data required to be reported to the federal government under Section 204 of the CAA. MedBen’s RxDC pharmacy filing was made electronically via the CMS HIOS portal and included 2022 pharmacy data for our clients in advance of the June 1, 2023 deadline.
