At MedBen’s annual employee recognition event on October 2, employees who reached milestone anniversaries in 2026 were honored.
Three employees are celebrating 35 years with MedBen: Kurt Harden, Chairman & CEO; Monica Jackson, Claims Examiner III; and Cathy Valentine, Manager of Data Prep. Trudi Martin, Claims Processing Supervisor, and Brenda McLean, Account Executive, are both marking 30 years with the company.
“After 35 years, I still enjoy coming to work every day,” Harden said at the event. “I’ve been fortunate to work with great people — employees and clients alike. Together, we’ll keep finding ways to deliver the level of service our partners trust us to provide.”
We asked the other honorees what they’ve enjoyed most about their 30+ years at MedBen:
Monica Jackson: “My co-workers are the best part about working at MedBen. I enjoy working with a bunch of great people.”
Trudi Martin: “I’ve enjoyed the opportunity to learn about the industry, grow within the company, experience different departments and better understand our clients’ needs. Plus, I work with great people who are helpful, compassionate and supportive. I really appreciate being part of a great team!”
Brenda McLean: “I love my work family and appreciate all the opportunities MedBen has offered me throughout my career. I’m thankful to work for a company that has integrity and truly cares for its employees, customers and clients. I can’t imagine working anywhere else.”
And Cathy Valentine? She retired in September, so she was unavailable for comment — but her MedBen family wishes her a wonderful retirement!
