The annual deadline to distribute Medicare Part D notices to plan members is October 15. These notices indicate whether a plan’s prescription drug coverage is considered creditable or non-creditable and can affect a Medicare-eligible individual’s decision about whether to enroll in Medicare Part D, as well as whether a late-enrollment penalty may apply.
