MedBen is pleased to announce the promotions of Amber Johnson and Heidi Smith to Senior Account Managers. In their new roles, they will help train new representatives and have added responsibilities while continuing to provide day-to-day support for their existing clients.
“Amber and Heidi have both demonstrated a strong commitment to our clients and to the Account Management team,” said MedBen Director of Client Services Tracie Lesko. “These well-deserved promotions recognize their experience and the valuable contributions they make every day.”
Johnson joined the Account Management team in 2019 and was promoted to Account Manager in 2022. She brings more than 20 years of industry experience, including work in health insurance and as a chemical dependency counselor.
Smith joined MedBen’s Customer Service team in 2012, moved to Account Management the next year, and was promoted to Account Manager in 2020. She is the second-longest tenured member of the team and brings more than 20 years of client relations experience.
MedBen has also promoted Aften Rhodes to Account Manager. In her new role, she will serve as a primary resource for plan administrators, helping address claims and benefits questions, support employee meetings and coordinate client service needs. “Aften has quickly proven herself to be a knowledgeable and dependable resource for our clients, and I know she’ll continue to excel in her new role,” Lesko said.
Rhodes joined MedBen as an Account Representative in 2025. Prior to MedBen, she spent 13 years in the insurance industry and five years working in a physician’s office.
