More plan members are using mental health care, and more of those visits are running through the medical plan. MedBen client data shows mental health office visits from January through August 2026 were 41.6% higher than the same period in 2022. Members are getting help. The question for employers is whether every one of those visits needed to start there.
Many MedBen clients already offer AllOne Health, a confidential employee assistance program. Members can talk one-on-one with a licensed clinician by phone, through AllOne Health’s app, or in person. In-person visits use a national provider network, so an office appointment is usually easy to get.
Counseling through the program covers concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, relationship strain, and work stress. If a member needs care beyond what the EAP can provide, the clinician can connect them to the medical plan.
AllOne Health also helps with practical issues that often feed mental health concerns, including child and elder care, financial and legal questions, life coaching, and navigating medical care.
Clients that offer AllOne Health can ask their MedBen Account Management team for member materials. If you don’t currently offer an EAP, contact your broker or MedBen Marketing.
