On May 16, MedBen Manager of Marketing & Analytics Jess Schmidt successfully completed the Community Leadership Program offered by the Licking County Chamber of Commerce. The nine-month program provides local professionals with a deeper understanding of community resources while fostering personal and professional growth through a strengths-based leadership approach.
Schmidt, who joined MedBen in 2020 and was promoted to manager in 2022, found the program to be an inspiring experience that sharpened her understanding of leadership and communication. “I gained a better awareness of my strengths and communication style, but also how to adapt to the needs of others,” she said. “It’s already enhanced how I engage with my team and support their development – something that’s key to both collaboration and long-term success.”
